Room For One More

A long time ago during a regular Sunday morning
service our pastor said, “If you want to make God
laugh, just tell him your plans.” (If that doesn’t
quite make sense, go back and read that sentence
one more time).

Well, three years ago when our youngest came
along we felt great about the family we were
raising. And, with our youngest now potty trained,
making her own bed and tall enough to ride rides
at amusement parks, our family felt just perfect. But, early in 2006 God started working in our hearts and doing what He does best—telling us what His plans are for our family.

Now we find ourselves excited once again to add another member to our family. This time, we’ll be going to China to bring home the daughter God has laid on our hearts. Turns out, God knew long before we did that we would have room in our hearts for one more...
